Baked Apple Doughnuts
Ingredients:
1 Cup Sugar
1 Teaspoon Nutmeg
1 Teaspoon Salt to taste
1/2 Cup Butter melted
2 Teaspoons Cinnamon
3 1/2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
1/2 Cup Milk
3 Cups Flour
1 Cup Shortening
1/2 Cup Mixed Nuts Choppped
2 Eggs beaten
1 Cup Apple grated
Directions:
1. Mix flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, and nutmeg.

2. Cut in shortening until mixture looks like crumbs.

3. Add eggs, milk, apples, nuts and mix thoroughly. Fill well greased tiny muffin pans 2/3 full.

4. Bake in preheated 350-degree oven for 20-25 minutes.

5. In a plastic bag mix sugar and cinnamon.

6. Dip doughnut tops in butter and shake in bake to coat.
