Basmati Pullao (Cashew And Raisin Pilaf)
Ingredients:
1 Unit Onion chopped
2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil as needed
1 Cup Basmati Rice well rinsed
2 Unit Stick Cinnamon (1/2-inch piece)
2 Unit Cloves ground
1 Unit Bay Leaf crumbled
Cup Cashew toasted
1/3 Cup Raisin (up to 2)
Directions:
1. Cook onion over low heat until tender.

2. Add rice, cinnamon, cloves, bay leaf, cashews, raisins.

3. Cook for 2 minutes. Add 2 cups of water; cover.

4. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes.
