Beef Pot Roast Oriental Pressure Cooker
Ingredients:
1 Teaspoon Garlic Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Dry Mustard optional
1/4 Teaspoon Pepper red bell
3 Pounds Beef
2 Tablespoons Shortening melted
3/4 Cup Water warmed
2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce ;
3 Tablespoons Honey Or Maple Syrup
1 Tablespoon Vinegar Chinese, rice
1 1/2 Teaspoons Celery Seeds
1/2 Teaspoon Ground Ginger (optional)
Directions:
1. Combine garlic salt, mustard and pepper; rub into roast.

2. Heat pressure cooker. Add shortening; brown roast well on all sides.

3. Combine water, soy sauce, honey, vinegar, celery seed and ginger; pour over meat.

4. Close cover tightly. Place pressure regulator on vent pipe.

5. Cook 40 minutes Let pressure drop on its own accord.

6. Thicken gravy if desired. 6 to 8 Servings.

7. Be sure you start timing once pressure is reached.
