Beef Topping for Cooked Rice Family Recipe
Ingredients:
1/2 Pound Lean Beef cubed
2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil for deep fat frying
1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce (1tbsp)
1/2 Teaspoon Salt (if using water)
1 Onion cut into 1-inch
Directions:
1. Shred beef and onion.

2. Heat oil. Add beef and stir-fry until it loses its redness.

3. Then sprinkle with soy sauce. Add onion and salt; stir-fry another 2 minutes.

4. Transfer cooked rice to a serving dish; top with stir-fried beef mixture and serve.

5. VARIATION: For the onion, substitute any of the following vegetables, shredded: 1 green pepper, 1/2 pound Chinese lettuce or 1/2 cup preserved cabbage.
