Print Brandied Cranberries Recipe
Notes:
Brandied Cranberries
Ingredients:
1 Pound Cranberry (about 4 cups)
2 Unit Sugar
1 Unit Brandy or lemon juice
Directions:
1. Wash and drain cranberries.

2. Place in a jelly roll pan or on a cookie sheet with sides.

3. Sprinkle with sugar until berries are covered.

4. Broil, stirring several times for first few minutes, 6-8 inches below burner.

5. (Stirring prevents sugar from crystallizing).

6. Continue broiling until berries have popped, this takes several minutes.

7. Pour into a storage container and add generous amount of brandy.

8. Stir lightly, cover and refrigerate. Will keep indefinitely in refrigerator.

9. Good with turkey or chicken. Makes about 6 cups.
