Cardamom Krumkake
Although traditionally served as a Norwegian holiday dessert, you can enjoy this waffle cookie treat year round. Infused with the distinctive flavor and aromatic fragrance of cardamom, this recipe is sure to be a crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients:
2 Unit Eggs separated
1 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Butter softened
1 Teaspoon Cardamom or anise
1 1/2 Cups Flour
1 Cup Milk (scant cup)
Directions:
1. Beat eggs well; add sugar, butter and cardamom or anise.

2. Beat. Add flour and milk alternately and beat until smooth.

3. Whole cardamom seed that has been sheled and freshly crushed with a rolling pin makes for a more flavorful Krumkake.
