Corn Fritters
Ingredients:
10 oz Cream Style Corn Frozen
6 cups Vegetable Oil for deep frying
1/2 cup Flour
1/2 cup Yellow Cornmeal
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
1 teaspoon Instant Onion minced
1/2 teaspoon Salt
2 Eggs
Directions:
1. Place unopened corn pouch in warm water for 10 to 15 minutes to thaw.

2. In deep fat fryer or heavy saucepan, heat 2 to 3 inches of oil to 375 degrees.

3. In medium bowl, combine thawed corn and remaining ingredients; stir until well combined.

4. Drop batter by level tablespoonfuls into hot oil, 375 degrees.

5. Fry 2 to 3 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on paper towel.

6. 24 to 28 fritters. TIP: Corn Fritters can be served with maple syrup or sprinkled with powdered sugar.
