Basic Candy Popcorn
Ingredients:
3/8 Cup White Corn Syrup
2 Drops Food Coloring if desired
1 Cup Sugar brown to taste
1/2 Cup Water to cover
1 Tablespoon Butter margarine, or olive
1/2 Cup Popcorn popped
Directions:
1. In a heavy saucepan put the water, sugar, corn syrup and butter.

2. Cook over a moderate heat to 280~ on a candy thermometer.

3. Add the oil and the food coloring. Stir well and pour over the popped corn.
