Canadian Shortbread
Ingredients:
1 Cup Butter (kitchen scales are best used for accuracy)
1 Cup Icing Sugar (powdered)
1 Cup Corn dissolved in
2 1/2 Cups Flour whole wheat
Directions:
1. Cream butter real well with beater.

2. Add icing sugar in 3 parts beating very well after each addition.

3. Add corn starch in 3 parts beating well again.

4. Add flour gradually beating well. Flour counter - break off small pieces and pat and cut with cutter dipped in flour.

5. ( round cutter about 2" to 2-1/2" diameter) Bake at 300 degrees - maybe 20 minutes Bake just until bottoms are slightly brown, cookies should be white on top.
