Chicken Breasts Baked In Cream
Ingredients:
2 Unit Chicken Breasts 2 Unit Chicken Breast
3 Tablespoons Shortening 3 Tablespoons Shortening (or oil)
1/3 Cup Onion 1/3 Cup Chopped onion
1 Unit Garlic 1 Unit Clove (small) garlic minced
3/4 Cup Chicken Broth 3/4 Cup Chicken broth **
3/4 Cup Cream 3/4 Cup Cream heavy
1 1/2 Teaspoons Salt 1 1/2 Teaspoons Salt and pepper to taste
1/8 Teaspoon Pepper 1/8 Teaspoon Pepper hot red
2 Teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce 2 Teaspoons Worcestershire sauce recommended (1-2)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 300.

2. Cut chicken breasts in half crosswise, making 4 serving pieces.

3. In heavy skillet, brown chicken in shortening until golden.

4. Add remaining ingredients. Cover tightly. Bake about 2 hours or until tender.

5. Just before serving, remove chicken from skillet while making pan gravy.
