Cookie Mix in a Jar
Ingredients:
| 1 Cup Oatmeal finely ground |
| 1 Egg Yolks strained |
| 3/4 Cup Flour plus additional |
| 1 Tablespoon Milk up to 1 |
| 1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips melted and cooled |
| 1/4 Cup Sugar (bottom) |
| 1/2 Teaspoon Salt (top) |
| 1 Teaspoon Vanilla 1/4 tsp if Watkins |
| 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar up to 3 T |
| 1/2 Cup Butter or margarine Softened |
| 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda (dissolved in a little warm water) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375F Beat butter, egg, milk and vanilla.
2. Gradually add dry ingredients and mix well. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
3. Bake 9-12 min for chewy; bake 12-13 for crispy.
4. Let stand one minute; remove to wire rack to cool completely.
