Graham Birdsnest Pudding
Ingredients:
1/2 Cup Sugar (for decoration)
1/3 Teaspoon Baking Soda (dissolved in a little warm water)
1 Cup Milk sour
Directions:
1. Lay in a deep dish, nice quartered apples, and pour over them a thin batter made of flour, one teacup of sour milk, one-half cup of sugar and about one third of a teaspoon of soda.

2. Bake in a moderate oven till the apples are thoroughly cooked.
