Marinated Mushrooms Grandmother's Recipe
Ingredients:
4 Tablespoons Vinegar Apple Cider
1 Pound Fresh Mushrooms stems removed
3 Tablespoons Dry Sherry warmed
1/2 Teaspoon Salt cayenne pepper
2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce light
1 Tablespoon Sugar brown, packed
1/2 Cup Onion sliced coarsely
Directions:
1. Wipe fresh mushrooms with a damp cloth.

2. (Cut off and discard stem ends). Place in a bowl.

3. Mince onions. Combine in a saucepan with sugar, soy sauce, sherry, vinegar and salt.

4. Bring to a boil, stirring. Then pour over mushrooms and toss gently.

5. Refrigerate, covered, 24 hours. Drain and serve.
