Print Orange Sponge Recipe
Notes:
Orange Sponge
Ingredients:
1/2 Cup Sugar scant
1/4 Cup Water or orange juice
1/2 Cup Orange Juice chilled
1 Tablespoon Gelatin lemon flavor
1 Cup Water boiling
3 Eggs whites
1/4 Cup Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
1/8 Teaspoon Salt optional
Directions:
1. Soften gelatin in cold water.

2. Dissolve in boiling water. Add sugar and salt.

3. Stir until dissolved. Cool. Add strained fruit juices.

4. Mix thoroughly. Cool until partially set. Beat until gelatin will hold its shape.
