Print Oriental Pistachio Chicken Recipe

Oriental Pistachio Chicken
Ingredients:
8 Chicken Breasts halved
1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder or 1 clove garlic minced
1 Teaspoon Paprika divided
3 Tablespoons Safflower Oil ;
2 Cups Beef Broth 13 3/4 oz
2 Teaspoons Cornstarch dissolved in one tablespoon cold water
1/3 Cup Dry Red Wine
2 Tablespoons Oyster Sauce (optional)
4 Green Onions including tops
1/4 Cup Pistachio Nuts shelled
Directions:
1. Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper.

2. Saute chicken in oil over medium-high heat. In saucepan, combine beef broth, cornstarch, wine and oyster sauce.

3. Heat to boiling and simmer for 10 minutes. Add green onions and 1/4 cup pistachios.

4. Prepare rice noodles according to package directions.

5. Place noodles on heated serving dish, top with chicken breasts and pour sauce over all.
