Print Rye Popovers Recipe

Rye Popovers
Ingredients:
1/3 Cup Rye Flour
Cup All-Purpose Flour
3 Eggs beaten
1/2 Teaspoon Salt coarse
3 Tablespoons Butter or margarine melted
1 Cup Milk
Directions:
1. Combine eggs, milk, and butter in mixing bowl.

2. Add flours and salt. Beat with rotary beater or wire whisk until smooth.

3. Pour batter into 6 greased muffin cups, stirring through batter often to prevent settling.

4. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes or until golden brown.

5. Pierce each popover to let out steam. Bake additional 10 minutes.

6. Immediately remove from pan. Serve hot. Makes 6.
