AUNT ANN'S CELERY SEED DRESSING

Ingredients:

1 1/4 Cups Sugar (optional)
2 Teaspoons Dry Mustard optional
2 Teaspoons Salt ; (optional)
1 Onion chopped fine
2 Cups Vegetable Oil for greasing
1 Cup Vinegar white, wine
2 Teaspoons Celery Seeds to taste
1 Unit Clove Of Garlic (s) halved

Directions:

1. Mix all ingredients together.

2. I use my blender then I don't have to chop the onions.

3. This will keep several weeks in a jar with a plastic lid.

4. Do not use a metal lid, since the vinegar will rust the lid.

5. You can adjust the sugar and salt to suit your own taste.

6. We find that 1 1/4 c sugar is too much, and so is 2 t of salt.

7. The dressing is especially good on a fresh fruit or spinach salad.
