Almond Cream Cheese Stuffed French Toast

This French toast recipe combines every mouth watering breakfast flavor imaginable: vanilla, almond, raspberry, cinnamon and maple. Sauted in butter, these elegant toast slices could be served at a fancy brunch.

Ingredients:

3 lb French Bread
4 oz Almonds dry-roasted diced
8 oz Cream Cheese softened
1/2 cup Raspberry preserves
24 Eggs
1 1/2 quart Milk
1 teaspoon Almond Extract
1 teaspoon Extract Of Vanilla
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
Butter to taste
Maple Syrup to taste
Confectionery Sugar to taste

Directions:

1. Cut bread into 1-inch slices and cut a pocket into each side.

2. Combine almonds, cream cheese and preserves and stuff into bread pockets.

3. Beat together eggs, milk and flavorings. Soak bread and saute in butter until browned on both sides.
