This is a very simple recipe to make with only a few basic ingredients, most of which are already in the pantry. Excellent addition to any breakfast or brunch. Slight, not overpowering, sweetness.
2. Add sugar, beaten egg and almonds. Knead the mixture thoroughly.
3. Form mixture into an oblong shape about two inches square at the end.
4. Wrap in silver foil and leave in the refrigerator over night.
5. Cut into 1/8-inch-thick slices using a serrated knife.
6. Place on greased baking sheet and cook for 10-15 minutes at 350 degrees F.
