1/2 Cup Butter (1/4 stick) cut into 6 pieces
2 Cups Sugar
2 Cups Water reserved from cooking
1 1/2 Cups Flour
1/2 Cup Shortening melted
1/3 Cup Milk cold
2 Cups Apples finely chopped
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon Ground

1. Melt butter and put in a 9x13 inch dish.

2. Heat sugar and water until sugar melts. Cut shortening into flour.

3. Add milk and form into soft ball; roll out dough.

4. Sprinkle apples with cinnamon; place on dough and roll up like jelly roll.

5. Cut in slices and place in pan with melted butter.

6. Pour sugar syrup around rolls and bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes.
