Apple Coffee Cake

Ingredients:

2 Eggs at room temperature
1 1/2 Cups Sugar
3 Cups All-Purpose Flour
1 Dash Nutmeg
1 Teaspoon Salt to taste
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
3 Teaspoons Baking Powder
1 Cup Milk
1/2 Cup Flour
1/2 Cup Butter or margarine
3 Apples chopped into 1/2-inch chunks

Directions:

1. Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs and milk.

2. Sift dry ingredients together.

3. Stir into creamed mixture.

4. Stir in about 1/2 of the chopped apple chunks. Pour batter into greased 9-by-13-inch pan.

5. Top with remaining chopped apples.

6. Sprinkle crumb mixture evenly over top.

7. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.

8. For Crumb Mixture: Mix flour, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg together.

9. Cut butter into above mixture until crumbly.
