1. Heat oven to 375* F Grease 13x9-inch baking pan.
2. Combine all ingredients EXCEPT applesauce and nuts; mix until crumbly.
3. Reserve 1 cup mixture. Press remaining mixture onto bottom of prepared pan.
4. Bake 15 minutes; cool. Spread applesauce over partially baked crust; sprinkle with nuts.
5. Top with reserve 1 cup oat mixture. Bake 13 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
6. Cool in pan on wire rack; cut into 2-inch squares.
