Ingredients:

1/2 Cup Sugar
1/2 Pound Butter or margarine
1/4 Teaspoon Nutmeg
1/2 Cup Light Brown Sugar
1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
1 Cup Flour
1 Cup Oatmeal
8 Apples Tart

Directions:

1. Core, pare and thinly slice apples. Blend crust ingredients. Arrange apples in the bottom of a 9 inch square glass baking dish.

2. Sprinkle apples with the 2 sugars and top with a layer of the crust.

3. Repeat layers, ending with a heavy 1/4 inch crust. Press layers gently.

4. Bake 50 to 60 minutes at 350 F.

5. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
