Ingredients:

2 Cups Cheddar Cheese 2 Cups Shredded cheddar cheese
1 Cup Ricotta Cheese 1 Cup Ricotta cheese part skim milk
1 Unit Egg 1 Unit Egg lightly beaten
1/4 Cup Sugar 1/4 Cup Sugar
1 Teaspoon Almond Extract 1 Teaspoon Almond extract or up to 3/4 teaspoon
2 Unit Apples 2 Unit 20 oz. cans apple pie fillin
8 Unit Lasagna Noodles 8 Unit Lasagna noodles cooked rin
6 Tablespoons All-Purpose Flour 6 Tablespoons All-purpose flour
6 Tablespoons Brown Sugar 6 Tablespoons Packed brown sugar (up to 1/2)
1/4 Cup Oats 1/4 Cup Quick-cooking oats uncooked
1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon 1/2 Teaspoon Ground cinnamon for garnish
1 Dash Ground Nutmeg 1 Dash Ground nutmeg (optional)
3 Tablespoons Margarine 3 Tablespoons Margarine (I prefer butter)
1 Cup Sour Cream 1 Cup Dairy sour cream (optional)
1/3 Cup Brown Sugar 1/3 Cup Packed brown sugar (up to 1/2)

Directions:

1. Recipe by: Cindy Revelle Combine Cheddar cheese, ricotta cheese, egg, granulate sugar and almond extract in medium bowl; blend well.

2. Spread 1 can apple pie filling over bottom of greased 13x9" pan.

3. Layer 1/2 of the noodles over filling, then spread cheese mixture over noodles.

4. Top with remaining noodles, then remaining can of apple pie filling.

5. Combine flour, 6 Tbls brown sugar, oats, cinnamon and nutmeg in small bowl.

6. Cut in margarine until crumbly. Sprinkle over apple pie filling.

7. Bake in preheated 350F oven 45 minutes. Cool 15 minute.

8. Meanwhile, prepare garnish by blending sour cream and 1/3 cup brown sugar in small bowl until smooth.

9. Cover; refrigerate. To serve, cut lasagna into square and garnish with sour cream mixture.
