Ingredients:

1 Cup Flour (1 c)
1/3 Cup Oats old-fashioned
2 Teaspoons Baking Powder plus
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda level - dissol ved in milk
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon Ground
1/4 Teaspoon Allspice (opt.)
1/2 Cup Milk Skimmed hot
1/2 Cup Honey Or Maple Syrup
2 Teaspoons Vanilla or orange flower water; optional
2 Unit Apples peeled
3 Tablespoons Raisins Chopped

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 375F Use a non-stick baking pan, or lightly oil a pan with vegetable oil.

2. Mix the flour, oats, baking powder, soda, cinnamon, and the allspice thoroughly.

3. In a different bowl, mix the milk, honey and vanilla extract.

4. Stir into the flour mixture. Add the apples and raisins.

5. Drop by the tablespoon, two inches apart, onto the baking pan.

6. Bake for 10 - 14 minutes until lightly browned.
