Apple and Cheese Pleasers

Ingredients:

1 Egg
3/4 Cup Raisin dark, seedless (opt)
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
3/4 Cup All-Purpose Flour
1/2 Teaspoon Salt to taste
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1/3 Cup Brown Sugar
1 1/2 Cups Instant Oats
1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon Ground
1 Cup Red Apple Chopped
Cup Butter softened or margarine
4 Ounces Low Fat Cheddar Cheese shredded

Directions:

1. Combine flour, butter, sugar, egg, vanilla, cinnamon, baking powder and salt in large bowl; mix well.

2. Add oats, cheese and raisins; mix well.

3. Stir in apple.

4. Drop by heaping tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet; bake in preheated moderate oven (375 degrees) 15 minutes or until golden brown.

5. Store in tightly covered container in refrigerator or in loosely covered container at room temperature.
