Applesauce Cake

A delicious, easy, Vegan quick bread that only takes a few minutes to mix and bake. Fragrant, moist, sweet, and full of healthy ingredients.

Ingredients:

1 Cup Raisin dark, seedless (opt)
1/2 Cup Butter or margarine
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 Teaspoon Nutmeg
1/4 Teaspoon Salt to taste
1/2 Teaspoon Cloves
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon Ground
2 Cups Flour unsifted
1 Cup Applesauce unsweetened
1 Cup Brown Sugar light

Directions:

1. Mix butter, sugar, salt and spices.

2. Add flour and applesauce in which soda has been dissolved.

3. Add the raisins.

4. Pour into an oblong, well-greased pan

5. Bake at 350-F about 35 minutes.
