Ingredients:

1 Egg lightly beaten
1 Cup Sugar
4 Teaspoons Oranges Grated
3 1/2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
3/4 Cup Milk
3 Cups Flour
2 Tablespoons Shortening
3/4 Cup Mixed Nuts Choppped
3/4 Cup Orange Juice
1 Cup Dried Apricot Finely chopped

Directions:

1. Combine sugar, shortening and egg.

2. Stir in milk, juice and rind.

3. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and add to other mixture.

4. Combine apricots and nuts; add to batter.

5. Pour into greased loaf pan and let stand 20 minutes.

6. Bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes.
