1/4 Cup Butter (1/4 stick) cut into 6 pieces

1. Wash and trim artichokes.

2. put water in a pot large enough to cover the artichokes.

3. bring to a boil. turn down to a simmer. cook in simmering water for 15 to 20 minutes or until a pulled leaf comes loose .

4. sauce: melt butter and add a dash of garlic salt or powder.
