Ingredients:

4 Cups Sugar
1 Pound Butter or margarine
1 Teaspoon Nutmeg
6 Eggs
1 Pinch Salt to taste
12 Teaspoons Baking Powder
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 Cup Milk
12 Cups Flour
1 Tablespoon Shortening heaping measurement

Directions:

1. Cream sugar, shortening, butter, eggs and milk together, then add all dry ingredients.

2. Roll out on floured and sugared board and cut out with cookie cutters.

3. Preheat oven to 350F oven and bake for 10 to 12 minutes.

4. You can add food coloring, decorate with sugar, little candies, or frosting, or you can add flavor extracts such as vanilla, lemon, orange, almond, etc.
