1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon Ground
1/4 Cup Margarine 1/4 Cup Margarine Melted
16 Ounces Cream Cheese 16 Ounces Cream Cheese Softened
1/2 Cup Sugar 1/2 Cup Sugar
2 Unit Eggs 2 Unit Large Eggs
1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla 1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla almond or lemon flav
4 Cups Apples 4 Cups Thinly Slied Peeled Apples
1/3 Cup Sugar 1/3 Cup Sugar
1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon Ground
1/4 Cup Pecan 1/4 Cup Chopped Pecans

1. Combine crumbs, sugar, cinnamon and margarine, press onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan.

2. Bake at 350 degrees F, 10 minutes. Combine cream cheese and sugar, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer, until well blended.

3. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

4. Blend in vanilla, pour over crust. Toss apples with combined sugar and cinnamon.

5. Spoon apple mixture over cream cheese layer; sprinkle with pecans.

6. Bake at 350 degrees F, 1 hour and 10 minutes.

7. Loosen cake from rim of pan; cool before removing rim of pan.

8. Chill. VARIATION: Add 1/2 Cup finely chopped pecans with crumbs for crust.
