BARBECUE SAUCE #6

Ingredients:

1/4 Cup Brown Sugar packed
2 Tablespoons Paprika to taste
2 Teaspoons Salt ; (optional)
2 Teaspoons Dry Mustard (2 oz)
2 Unit Bay Leaves whole
1/2 Teaspoon Chili Powder (up to 1/2)
1/4 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper scant measure
1/4 Cup Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 Cup Cider Vinegar plus
2 Cups Tomato Juice or veg juice v8
1/2 Cup Ketchup ;
1 Cup Water boiling

Directions:

1. Mix together brown sugar, paprika, salt, dry mustard, bay leaves, chili powder, cayenne pepper, Worcestershire, vinegar, tomato juice, ketchup and water in large saucepan.

2. Place over high heat and bring to boil. Reduce heat to simmer and cook until slightly thickened, about 30 minutes.
