Ingredients:

3/4 Cup Sugar
1/4 Teaspoon Nutmeg
1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
1/4 Teaspoon Ginger
1/4 Cup Apple Cider
1/2 Cup Butter or margarine
3 Granny Smith Apples peeled, sliced
1/2 Cup Walnut -or-

Directions:

1. Place apples in a greased 1 quart baking dish.

2. Combine sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and apple cider; pour over apples.

3. Dot with butter. Sprinkle with nuts or raisins.

4. Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 45 - 60 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve warm over ice cream.
