Banana Bread - Best!

Ingredients:

2 Unit Eggs 2 Unit Eggs hardboiled
1 Cup Sugar 1 Cup Sugar (up to 6)
1/2 Cup Butter 1/2 Cup Melted butter or oil
1 Teaspoon Vanilla 1 Teaspoon Vanilla or Almond extract to
4 Tablespoons Sour Milk 4 Tablespoons Sour milk see note
1 Cup Banana 1 Cup Bananas ripe, mashed
2 Cups Flour 2 Cups Flour
2 Teaspoons Baking Powder 2 Teaspoons Baking powder plus
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda 1 Teaspoon Baking soda level - dissol ved in milk
1 Pinch Salt 1 Pinch Salt (to taste)
1/2 Cup Walnut 1/2 Cup Walnuts chopped or pecans

Directions:

1. In bowl, mix together eggs, sugar, butter, vanilla, milk and bananas, blending well.

2. In large bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt.

3. Add banana mixture and blend only to moisten.

4. Add walnuts, if desired. Pour into lightly greased 9"x5" pan and bake at 350F for 1 hr until tester comes clean.

5. Note: For sour milk, add 1 tsp vinegar to fresh milk.

6. Crunchy and sweet on the inside; moist and tender on the inside - delicious.
