Bananas Foster - De Carle

Ingredients:
1/2 Cup Butter (1/4 stick) cut into 6 pieces
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar heaping
1 Tablespoon Dark Rum or brandy
1 Tablespoon Banana
3 Bananas split and sliced
1 Unit Vanilla Ice Cream or whipped cream, for garnish
1. In a wide skillet, melt butter and sugar over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture has blended to caramel.
2. Add liquors and ignite. (Use caution!) Heat bananas in mixture for 2 minutes and serve over ice cream.
