2 Pounds Beef Top Round Steak cut into 1/8&
1/4 Cup Onion chopped
1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar heaping
2 Teaspoons Paprika divided
1 Teaspoon Oregano ; crushed
1 Teaspoon Chili Powder or to taste
1/4 Teaspoon Pepper red bell
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1 Unit Bay Leaf ; small
2 Centiliters Garlic minced
1 Cup Ketchup (family size bottle)
1/4 Cup Water hot
1 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil *
1/4 Cup Tarragon (up to)
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce recommended (1-2)
2 Drops Liquid Smoke opt'l

Directions:

1. Combine ingredients in slow cooker; cover.

2. Cook on low for 4 to 6 hours, depending on how well done you want meat.

3. Remove bay leaf before serving. Serve by itself or on rolls.

4. To save time, use meat that has been cut up for stir fry.

5. If you\'re cutting your own, it\'s easier if the meat is slightly frozen when you slice it.
