Barbeque Sauce

Ingredients:

1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 Cup Butter (or marg.) melted
1/4 Cup Lemon Juice fresh, not bottled
1/3 Cup Water 80 deg,(1/3 cups)
1/4 Teaspoon Pepper (opt)
1/2 Teaspoon Salt pepper, and tabasco to taste
1 Cup Ketchup I use smoky BBQ sauce
1 Tablespoon Paprika (Hungarian if possible) [I use half hot, half mild]
1/2 Cup Onion finely chopped
1 Teaspoon Brown Sugar packed

Directions:

1. Heat all ingredients except lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce.

2. Bring to a boil. Add lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce and heat until hot.

3. Makes about 2 cups. [Variations I make: 1 Can Tomato sauce 2 T.

4. sugar. Slightly less butter, or none at all.

5. The chicken seems to produce enough of it's own fat to make up for leaving any out.

6. 1/2 T. packed brown sugar.] Pour over Skinned and cleaned Chicken.

7. Cook in crock pot for about 6-8 hours on low.
