Beef Oven Stew With Meatballs

Ingredients:

1 Unit Egg 1 Unit Beaten egg Yolks
2 Tablespoons Cornstarch 2 Tablespoons Cornstarch about
2 Teaspoons Onions 2 Teaspoons Instant minced onion
1/2 Teaspoon Dry Mustard 1/2 Teaspoon Dry mustard optional
1/4 Teaspoon Chili Powder 1/4 Teaspoon Chili powder (optional)
1/2 Teaspoon Salt 1/2 Teaspoon Salt (to taste)
8 Ounces Ground Beef 8 Ounces Ground beef (up to 10)
2 Potatoes 2 Potatoes peeled/quartered
2 Carrots 2 Carrots sliced
1 Onion 1 Onion quartered
8 Ounces Tomatoes 8 Ounces Tomatoes or stewed tomatoes; or or more
1 Unit Beef Bouillon Cube 1 Unit Beef bouillon cube (optional)
3 Tablespoons Water 3 Tablespoons Water warmed

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 F Combine egg, cornstarch, instant minced onion, dry mustard, chili powder and salt.

2. Add ground beef and mix well. Shape into 6-8 balls.

3. Brown in Microwave on High for 6-7 minutes. Placei n 1 1/2 quart casserole.

4. Add potatoes, carrots and onion. Mix together remaining ingredients and heat in Microwave.

5. Pour over meat and vegetables. Cover and bake at 350 F until vegetables are tender, aobut 1 hour and 15 minutes.
