Beer Baked Beans

Ingredients:
1 Pound Beans 1 Pound Jacobs cattle beans
1 Pound Salt Pork 1 Pound Lean salt pork in 1 piece
1. Cover beans with water and soak overnight, drain.
2. Add salt pork to beans and cover with enough water to boil.
3. Boil beans till skin splits. Drain, remove salt pork and cut into 2-inch cubes and score them.
4. Mix all the other ingredients together and add to beans.
5. Place in bean pot and add enough water to cover beans.
6. Add the salt pork. Cover and bake 5 to 7 hours in 325 degree oven.
7. Remove cover and cook 1/2 hour more. Note: May also be done in crock pot on low temp.
