1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1 Cup Milk body temperature
1 Cup Flour plus extra flour for dredging
1/4 Pound Shortening softened - part butter for flavor
1/2 Teaspoon Salt pepper to taste,
1 Cup Raisin (dunk in wiskey)
1 Cup Sugar (or less, to taste)
1 Egg yolk raw

1. in saucepan put first 4 ingredients and bring to a boil, cool.

2. Then stir in 1 egg, then the dry ingredients, mix in 2nd.
