Ingredients:
1/2 Cup Cider Vinegar 1/2 Cup Apple cider vinegar ;
1 1/2 Cups Ketchup 1 1/2 Cups Ketchup (optional)
3/4 Cup Water 3/4 Cup Water reserved from cooking
3 Tablespoons Dark Brown Sugar 3 Tablespoons Dark brown sugar or sub; or brown sugar sub....
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce to taste
1/2 Teaspoon Pepper 1/2 Teaspoon Pepper ;
1/4 Teaspoon Salt 1/4 Teaspoon Salt (to taste)
1 Unit Cayenne Pepper 1 Unit Cayenne pepper to taste (optional)
1. In a medium saucepan, combine the vinegar, ketchup, water, brown sugar, worcestershire sauce, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper.
2. Simmer on low heat for 10-20 minutes. Cool and store in the refrigerator.
