1 Cup White Wine dry
2 Cups Beef Broth canned/homemade
3 1/2 Pounds Beef Top Round Steak bonless *
3/4 Cup Butter margarine, or olive
1 Teaspoon Salt pepper to taste,
1 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce Shakes
1/2 Cup Unbleached Flour sifted
1 Hot Sauce to taste
1 Pound Mushroom sliced
1 1/2 Cups Green Bell Peppers chopped
1 Cup Onion chopped

1. Round steak should be cut into thin strips.

2. Melt 1/2 cup butter in a large fry pan. Brown meat over medium-high heat.

3. Remove browned meat. In remaining butter, saute onion for 2 minutes.

4. Add green bell pepper and mushrooms. Cook an additional 3 minutes.

5. Melt 1/4 cup butter and add flour. Slowly add beef broth; cook until thickened.

6. Stir in wine and seasonings. Add meat and mushroom mixture.

7. Cover and simmer 45 minutes to 1 hour, until meat is tender.
