Big Buy Double Decker Hamburger

Ingredients:
1 Pound Ground Chuck 1 Pound Ground chuck
8 Unit Hamburger Buns 8 Unit Hamburger Buns
3 Tablespoons Ham 3 Tablespoons Big Buy Hamburger Sauce per patty (see below)
1 Unit Lettuce 1 Unit Lettuce shredded
1 Unit American Cheese 1 Unit American Cheese slices
1 Unit Pickle 1 Unit Pickles (optional)
1 Cup Mayonnaise 1 Cup Mayonnaise preferably Hellmans
1. Divide ground chuck into 8 equal portions and shape into patties, keeping each quite thin.
2. Sear briskly on lightly greased hot grill or griddle, turning only once, till medium well.
3. Arrange each patty on bottom half of hamburger buns.
4. Apply 2 or 3 tablespoons of Big Buy Hamburger Sauce to each patty and then arrange a little shredded lettuce over each.
5. Place one atop the other and a slice of American cheese over the top patty.
6. Apply top of hamburger bun and serve at once.
7. Makes 4 double-deckers. BIG BUY HAMBURGER SAUCE: Stir all ingredients together with fork.
8. Refrigerate in covered container to use within 2 weeks.
9. Makes about 2 cups. (Recipe may be divided in half).
