Directions:
1. Sift flour, salt, baking powder, cream of tartar and sugar; cut in shortening.2. Add milk and stir. Roll or pat 1/2 inch thick and cut out with biscuit cutter.3. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in 450 degree oven 10 - 12 minutes.
