Directions:
1. Mix fat and sugar until creamy.2. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Mix flour, baking powder and salt thoroughly; add to creamy mixture.3. Add nuts and mix well. Chill dough 1 hour. Form dough into 3 rolls about 8 inches long and wrap in wax paper or plastic wrap, tightly.4. Chill thoroughly. Preheat oven to 375 F. Grease baking sheets.5. Remove roll of dough from refrigerator. Unwrap.6. Slice 1/8 inch thick. Place 1 inch apart on baking sheet.7. Bake 7 to 10 minutes. Remove from baking sheet while warm.
