4 Cups Blackberries 4 Cups Fresh blackberries (about 5 half-pints)
1/4 Cup Flour 1/4 Cup Flour more as needed to 7 c
1 3/4 Cups Sugar 1 3/4 Cups Sugar confectioner'
1/2 Teaspoon Salt 1/2 Teaspoon Salt and pepper to taste
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon (or more, to taste)
1 Unit Lemon 1 Unit Juice of 1/2 a lemon
1 Cup Biscuit Mix 1 Cup Packaged Biscuit Mix
2 Tablespoons Sugar 2 Tablespoons Sugar confectioner'
1/2 Cup Milk 1/2 Cup Milk or Water
1 1/2 Teaspoons Sugar 1 1/2 Teaspoons Sugar confectioner'

Directions:

1. Description: Butter an 8x8 baking pan.

2. Mix first 6 ingredients. Pour into baking dish.

3. Dot with butter. Mix buscuit mix, 2 tbls. sugar and milk or water.

4. Pour over fruit mixture. Top with 1 1/2 tsp.

5. sugar. Bake at 425 F uncovered for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
