Ingredients:

2 Cups Sugar plus extra for coating
6 Ounces Evaporated Milk divided
2 Tablespoons Butter or margarine Softened
1 Teaspoon Corn Syrup light
4 Ounces Unsweetened Chocolate Premelted envelopes
1 Dash Salt pepper to taste,
1 Teaspoon Vanilla or almond flavoring

Directions:

1. Butter sides of heavy 2 quart saucepan.

2. In it combine sugar, milk, chocolate,salt and corn syrup.

3. Cook and stir over medium heat until chocolate melts and sugar dissolves.

4. Cook to soft ball stage (234 F) Remove from heat, add butter without stirring.

5. Cool to lukewarm(110F), add vanilla and beat vigorously until fudge stiffens and loses it gloss.

6. Quickly stir in walnuts,push from pan(don't scrape sides) into buttered shallow pan.
