Brandied Raspberry Sauce

Ingredients:
3/4 Cup Sugar plus extra for coating
1/4 Cup Brandy (opt)
2 Tablespoons Cornstarch dissolved in 1 cup cold water
1. Note: 3 cups fresh raspberries can be used in place of frozen raspberries.
2. Combine raspberries and sugar in medium saucepan.
3. Dissolved the cornstarch in the brandy in a small bowl.
4. Stir the cornstarch mixture into the raspberries until well blended.
5. Cook over a medium heat, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens and bubbles, about 5 minutes.
6. Do not overcook. Cool to a room temperature.
