Brie, Caramel Butter

1/4 Teaspoon Nutmeg freshly ground
1/2 Cup Heavy Cream (whipping)
1/2 Cup Sugar depending on taste
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar or jaggery
1/2 Cup Butter or margarine or
1/8 Cup Almond toastedsliced
12 Ounces Brie Cheese wheel

1. Preheat oven to 225.

2. Melt butter, brown sugar and sugar in a saucepan over very low heat until sugars are dissolved.

3. Gradually add cream, beating until smooth. Add nutmeg and continue to cook until thickened and caramelized.

4. Place Brie in a pie plate and pour the caramel over the top.

5. Bake for 10 minutes or until Brie softens to desired consistency.

6. Remove from oven and sprinkle with almonds. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

7. Serving Ideas : Terrific when served on baguette slices.
