Broccoli With Garlic Sauce

Ingredients:
1 Broccoli 1 Bunch broccoli cut into
1/4 Cup Water 1/4 Cup Water Heated To 105F
2 Teaspoons Cornstarch 2 Teaspoons Cornstarch Dissolved In

3. Luckily, it is still in print. Seperate the broccoli florets from the main stalk.
4. Pell the stalk to remove the tough outer skin.
5. Slice the stalk into 1/4 inch pieces. Rinse and drain the flortets and sliced stalk; set aside.
6. In a small bowl, stir together the water and cornstarch until smooth.
7. Stir in the ketchup, soy sauce, sugar, sherry and vinegar; set aside.
8. In a wok or large skillet, heat some broth over high heat.
9. Add the scallion, chili peppers, ginger, and garlic; cook stirring, 30 seconds.
10. Add the borccoli and cook, stirring, until the broccoli is tender-crisp.
11. Stir in the tofu and sauce, and cook, stirring , until the sauce has thickened and the tofu is heated through.
